formation, llc

Since 2011, formation, llc is a small Northern Colorado full-service architectural design studio with the goal of creating More Meaningful Spaces - endearing them to their users through personal experiential connections.

We pursue a wide range of private and public projects from furniture fabrication and small home additions, to master-planning studies, tenant finishes, and new commercial spaces.

After over 23 years of professional experience, including more than a decade working in medium-sized design firms, we've found the best service that can be provided to the client is through a focused, functional, and individualized design - from start to finish. This allows for a more efficient and personal experience, better communication, and ultimately a successful project that reflects the client’s passions.

Stacee M. Kersley, Architect & Founder

Stacee is a Colorado licensed Architect & LEED Accredited Professional with over 23 years of public and private experience, including design-build and CMGC partnerships, large-scale places of worship, institutional facilities, primary through higher-education additions and improvements, commercial and retail endeavors, and residential projects - both single and multi-family.

Whether it’s working and connecting with clients, exploring new places with her family, or learning and helping to address the needs of her community, she continues to seek out new opportunities that inform her advocacy and passion for architecture.
